Accelerating Growth in a Creative Agency
A creative agency made significant investment in systems and structures to accelerate the growth of their retail and wholesale businesses. However, successful execution of the ambitious growth targets outlined in the five-year strategic plan would require a shift in how the organization operated; simply “working harder” would not be sufficient.
We worked closely with the founders and investment team to align operating model with the nascent business strategy to accelerate short- and long-term performance. Using a series of individual interviews and facilitated team discussions, we:
Designed the future state by codifying the strategy, culture, and leadership required to meet financial and operational targets
Assessed the present by diagnosing the strengths and weaknesses of the current operating model
Created plans to accelerate the transition by identifying and prioritizing the interventions that would have the most impact
By transforming the organization design and operating model, we addressed gaps in strategic capability and interpersonal relationships. At the same time, we ensured sustained success through recommendations for changes to training and development interventions, compensation and rewards, and employee experience that the client could implement without our support.
